Annual subscription to Arkiwera
Arkiwera is provided as a Software as a Service, SaaS. You pay an annual license that is priced based on how many social media channels or web domains you wish to collect and preserve through the platform.

Social Media Archiving
In Arkiwera, you can create an archival copy containing posts from your social media accounts, along with comments and reactions. The collection can be scheduled or created as needed – all in one intuitive interface.
Web archiving
In Arkiwera, you can preserve, view, and create archival copies of websites. The archival copy is a snapshot of your web site that is available offline even after the page has been unpublished. The capture can be scheduled or done whenever you want – just press start!

Schedule Automated Archiving
You don’t need to manually initiate each individual archiving process. Instead, you can easily set up scheduled collections of both websites and social media channels, for example, on a weekly or monthly basis.
Data storage
We care about your personal data. The information in Arkiwera is stored on Swedish servers in Sweden. They are provided by our subcontractor Safespring AB.
We also offer storage in other regions – contact us to learn more.
Unlimited collections
Once you’ve set up a collection schedule for a website or social media feed, you can make unlimited collections during your license period from that domain. If something goes wrong during the archival process or you are not satisfied with the results, our support team is just an email or phone call away.
Deviations from this may occur depending on the agreement and the form of procurement.

Archived copies of websites and social media can be saved in either HTML format or the WARC format (ISO 28500:2009). Both formats are designed for long-term preservation.
When saving in HTML format, the files are packaged as a ZIP file upon export. Both ZIP and WARC files can be easily transferred to your e-archive or other digital storage solutions.
File Format Conversions
When archiving websites to the HTML format, the following file formats can be automatically converted:
Converted to PDF/A:
PDF and Office Documents (DOC, DOCX, DOT, DOTX, XLS, XLSX, XLT, XLTX, PPT, PPTX, POT, POTX, ODT, ODS, and ODP)
Converted to PNG:
Image files (GIF, BMP, ICO)

Arkiwera uses official APIs to access social media data. You must approve access before archiving, and you can revoke it at any time via the platform’s settings.
